课前的热身活动可以分为三种形式:

  1、谈话:比如每天给学生规定一个话题,如“My favourite season”“My family”“My school”等。让学生提前准备,每天选出一至二名学生站在台前向大家介绍。这种方法可以有效地提高学生英语口语水平及培养学生语感。

  2、儿歌:在课前组织学生唱一到两首英文歌曲或背诵一个Chant。由于其节奏明快,气氛热烈,孩子们常会感到新奇振奋而手舞足蹈,拍掌应和,自然地进入学习氛围。但是,我个人认为这种方法更适合用于低年级学生,因为在我所教的五年级学生最怕唱歌,每次让他们唱英文歌的时候就会请求我说:“Teacher,你让我们背吧!

  3、活动:活泼、好动是孩子的天性。我们在教学中不妨投其所好,设计一些新颖别致又包含课文内容的活动,既可以作为揭题的引子,又可以作为激活学生思维的兴奋点,为新课的呈现起到了良好的铺垫作用。是的,有时候我常常想,为什么学生那么喜欢体育课呢?因为体育课上不用学习,活动特别多,学生喜欢活动,做游戏。每个英语老师手里都有一些游戏,比如:挖地雷”“警察捉小偷”“正反话等,一度我还因为游戏贫乏而发动学生设计英语游戏。不过,真要承认活动是英语课不可缺少的一部分。
